Una canción redonda suele tener un buen inicio, pero no tiene por qué tener un inicio tan bueno como otra canción de hechuras más parcas, ya sea por su calidad musical o por su enjundia social (que se haya convertido o no en un himno generacional, por ejemplo, es algo que sobrevuela a la perfección formal de una canción).
